Halibut fishing is only a little over 5 months away, and tuna fishing just a bit past that! Heck, it's just around the corner!
Ok, so I know it's a long way off, but I want to put this out to anyone on Ifish that is interested in fishing with me in 2009 that now would be a good time to get set up with either a reservation for your specific date, or to be placed on the call list.
Summer of 2009 will be a little different than the past. I will be offering fewer date reservations, and relying more on a call list or short notice list. In addition, I will ONLY be offering halibut and tuna fishing.
At this point in time I am still open for halibut fishing, especially since no dates have been set yet. If interested, please send me an e-mail, and those who want to reserve dates will be put on a list in order, and when dates announced contacted in that order.
For tuna fishing I will only be booking by the boat. At this time I have a couple of dates reserved, and about 3 groups on the call list. Starting at the end of January I will be giving seminars and attending some sport shows, so I expect that a lot of my call list and dates will fill up quickly. Last year by the end of February I was booked full, and with less trips this year I expect the same.
Trips this year for tuna will be $1200 for the boat.
Halibut trips will be $1000 for the boat.
Fuel surcharges may apply if gas goes through the roof again.
