Cool Gifts/Holiday Purchases???

I know the general forum has this but I didn't see any fly stuff so here we go. You know the procedure.

I'll start it off.

1. Dec Hogan's "Passion for Steelhead" -- this is an awesome book but don't read it unless you are already into or plan on getting into spey casting / staying up late at night reading about spey casting.

2. Sims Freestone studded boots. - Excited to use them. Just walking around the store they are a huge upgrade from my cheapo hodgemans.

3. Some fly tying materials.

4. A bobber jig rod (ooops not fly gear) so I can rig my old nymphing set up on a spining rod / real so I can keep my fly rod set up to SWING!

5. Drift -- this movie rocks and has some awesome deschutes footage. Ahhh why does it have to be winter right now!!!

I got a jig/bobber rod too. Also a waterproof digi camera. Underwater hero shots to come. :D

Just picked myself up a Birthday/Christmas present of a new pair of Chotas...let me tell you, they are SUPER comfy. (at least walking around the house in my waders) I can't wait to go fish in 'em! and yes, HUGE upgrade from my old hodgemans....

My In-Laws gifted me with a new pair of Simms G4 Pro waders. I wore them yesterday on the Lewis. So comfortable. I'm spoiled.

two 3 day steelhead trip hall pass form the wife to head out with the boys!! Doesn't sound like much but it's the best gift I could have asked for! Also got a col Cloudveil beenie and some Simms windstopper fingerless gloves.
