And check out the forum, under 'Freshwater Fishing'. Some guy who was caught with 13 fish on his boat last spring, ( That's 11 over the limit for Rufus ) ended up having his boat and all his gear seized by the state.

Its been really dead up by the net pens. I took 3 buddies over there at a couple weeks back and didn't get a bite in 3 days. We trolled all the normal go-to lures and nothing. We fished bait as well.

Of the 30 or so guys we saw shore fishing at the pens,we saw one fish caught. I think we saw two fish caught by guys in boats.

I've been fishing RW for 3 years. I've never seen it even remotely close to as slow as it has been.

I've heard the fishing has still been pretty good down by the dam though.

We're going back over the day after Christmas. Gonna give it another go.

hope to go in a couple of days.
was there last month and had a tuff time getting fish near the pens. the new owners of the pens are really putting the fed to them, was told about a 2500 lbs a day. so pretty sure the fish out side the pens are well fed also.

I've been fishing it for 14 years,and by far this is the slowest it's been. I've got a couple little places that I can still roll into and catch limits, but it's now "work". Personally it's fine with me, as the resevoir has just been pounded the last couple of years.

Anything new over there in the last couple weeks, thinking of taking a trip. Last I heard it was slow.
