Most holdover fish are 1-2yrs old that remain in the lake this time of year. They are under 10", not the adult hogs caught in the summer bound for the creeks to spawn. You will be challenged in you current boat because if the wind comes up you will find yourself in trouble, especially if your battery gives out and you have to row. I would stay in Speelyai's mouth and not venture out one-way beyond 30% of your battery's charge. The fish should be shallow; troll slow and use fluorescent green or red wedding rings or spin n glows with cured corn behind Fenders or Bolos.
