I lost an older Magellan Sportrak GPS at the boat launch at Scappoose Bay on Friday 11/28. If you found it, it would be wonderful to get it back.

Did it go for a swim? Some folks here are divers, maybe one is willing to take a look?

Ted, no swim. I had it in my pocket and peeled off some wet clothes. I think I put it on my bumper of my explorer or the bow of my boat when I emptied my pockets and drove away (Doh). Oh it more than likely came with a cell phone too (double doh). At least the phone was coverd as it was time to renew my account and an upgrade is on its way.

Sorry Jim waypoints are hard to replace. Its either in the brush as you come out of the lot or on the highway. I'd bet on the highway.

Yup its the waypoints I am after. Thank gawd I back them up on my PC. I made two waypoints that day that I would like, but other than that, I should be in good shape other than I need to get a new one.
I have about 200+ waypoints in total. The good thing is I only keep the region/waypoints I will need for that outing on the hand held at any given time just in case I lose it. Best offense is a good defense sometimes.
I hear Santa knows how to get to every good little boy & girl's house. I wonder if he does it with GPS and might have an extra one. I have been pretty good this year.
