View Full Version : How long before E10 goes bad?

Just bought my first boat this year - a North River Seahawk with a Yamaha 150 outboard. Haven't run it for about 2 months now. It's stored in the garage so it's protected from outside temps. It's about a quarter full of regular E10 gas. Should I have a worry about the E10 gone bad or absorbing too much water to run if I take it out now? I haven't added Sta-bil, but I will. Plan on taking it out one more time and filling the tank with Sta-bil added but I'm not sure if the gas already in there now might be bad.
Thanks,
RD

It's fine. If you don't trust it, bring it over to me and I will run it. Drag it down to the gas station ($1.85 in Cornelius) and fill it up and put Sta-Bil in it. It doesn't go bad that fast.

Ok, so I was hoping. After a bit of searching I find the same general consensus here on iFish.
Thanks for the reply.
