Thanks, I was expecting lots of "those are cute" comments and I was starting to think I was the only one who thought so. This is our first litter, and we are kinda proud of them. They are getting really fun wresteling with each other now.

Have they had thier first shots yet?? Are their still two females left? And finally do you think this is an appropriate pet for a 7 yr old girl and my 6yr old lab lap dog?

Speaking from experience beagles make awesome kids dogs. My boys beagle was so attached to him it would howl for hours if they were separated. They had to take their naps together or she would wake the neighborhood trying to get inside to be with him. They are tough little dogs so you don't have to worry about younger kids rumpusing with them once the dog is grown but you of course have to be careful when they are puppies like any dog. They get along great with other dogs. I had an Akita that would kill any dog she got a hold of except my sons beagle. She loved that little dog and the beagle would play with her until she wore the big dog out. I could go on all day about beagles and how much fun they are. Seeing these pups makes me want another one but we already have two dogs.

We have the two adult dogs and 5 children ranging from 2 1/2 to 10 years old. Our dogs are great with kids. Our little one climbs all over the dogs and they seem to like it. My folks have a large border collie cross and the beagles play with him all the time. The one thing I will say is a good fence is very important to being a beagle owner. They do like to follow there nose and if they can get out of your yard they will.

Too much vocals is something I heard about before I got my beagle but I think it depends on the dog. Ours is 1 1/2 years old now and she doesnt bark or howl much at all. Just at the neighbors' cats (which I am fine with) and other animals and people that come on the property. Pretty natural for a dog. She is great with everyone and they are really fun dogs. Cute pups, I better not let my girlfriend see or she will want one.

Heres a bump for ya.....

We tried to get some new pics of the pups tonight but after a couple the batteries gave out on the camera. I will get some tomarrow after work and post them in the evening. Thank you everyone for you interest and comments.

Are you a breeder or is this a one time deal?

Please, please, please, before you give a puppy for christmas make sure the recipient is responsible enough to handle the task of dog ownership.

No I ain't a breeder, We wanted a pup from our two adult dogs for our pack so we bred them. We have tried to inform anyone who is interested about the joys and difficulties of owning a beagle. We don't have any plans for any breeding in the near future. Thank you for your concern.

Here are some pictures of the puppies we have left. The female is the darker one, picture 1 is the female we have left picture 2 has found a new home with an Ifisher and is no longer available. The males are the ones with more white on them picture 3, They both have a lot of ticking on them especially the big fat one on the left, he sure is a cool dog. We have tons of photos of our pups but we can only post a few on here. We can e-mail anyone more pics if they would like.

The puppies are now ready to go to there new homes. I thought we had both females sold and even turned away a few people who were looking at getting a female. Well long story short the gal that was supposed to pick up the other little girl flaked out on us last minute, so we have 1 female and two males left. These are great little hounds for hunting and family pets.

Just wanted to say thanks for a great puppy, and well worth the drive. My 7 yr old daughter picked up her Christmas puppy Friday. Her and the new puppy officially called June have not been apart yet. They even go to the bathroom together. My personal thanks go out to the Corrington family for their help to make this a sucessful surprise.

Do you have any left? Do they house-traijn well?

We have two males and one female left. We have had lots of interest in them but mostly has been phone calls and emails. Our dogs were not to bad at all to house train, we spent lots of time taking them out and it just took a little patience. They were much easier than some other breeds we have owned in the past.
