Was crabbing Saturday 10-25-08 in Yaquina bay and the line of my trap managed to get wrapped around the line of a ghost trap.
It had no bouy, but if you can indentify the type of trap, color of rope(s) and style of bait cage you can have it back.
PM me with descriptions.

PM me with descriptions. Phil,,I have lost several traps the last few weeks, Had one that some one ran over and cut the buey off. It was one of the round style sold at Joes ($70 on sale) that crab can enter from all around(spring wires all around) with yellow leaded rope, and I think it was one with homemade bait trap made with .5 inch wire screen held in with nylon ties. also lost some of Danilson cheapies clamped togeather with hog rings Gerald Trask 541-926-8043 Albany, OR cell 541-730-5977 think the rope was fastened to harness with double end dog lease snaps.
