Fall fishing???

I saw this question on the fishing report thread and thought would get more replys if it had a new thread.

Three weeks back I hit Miller Island. I needed a brake from the troll for salmon. I fished in and around the Indian nets and the fishing was great for smallies and small walleyes. Will the cold nights turn off the bite or can I expect the action to continue? Only my second trip to the area and I am a rank novice. thanks

As long as it warms up enough during the day to keep the water temp resonably warm the fishing will still be good. When it starts staying cold all day and the water temp drops, then I will hang it up for the year. My :twocents:
