Hey I just purchased a 1990 VIP 150 19ft bass boat and I was wondering what you guys think. It has a 60 thrust trolling motor, 150 hp out board, 2 older fish finders but work. All switches and guages work, lights ect... The motor was just serviced, it has a few scratches and dings nothing major. Interior is all good exept a few places the carpet just needs glued back down easy fix, has 2 airated live wells plenty of storage. The only thing that is wrong is the guy was trying to move in the boat and when he did another one came by and made a wake and knocked him over onto the windshield and shatterd it. The bad thing is the company that made the windshield does not make them any more. Any ideas on where to get one? It also came with a canvas cover for the boat and the motor. The trailer is good working condition. It has 3 batteries less than a year old. Also has a flip up top. And here is the price i got it for 3500. Is that a good deal?

Congrats on the boat... I am sure you will love it.

As far as a replacement boat windshield, try Custom Mold and Tint Inc:

They are in Arkansas, and I have never tried them before but I have heard good things.....

Good luck

I was able to buy a windshield for my 85 skeeter starfire through Nixons Marine. They had another outfit fab it up and then Nixons sold it to me.

If motor still works and the boat floats, then yes it is a good deal.

PIC, PICS.....we want to see it!!
Seems like a fair deal......but with boats, all is not always what it seems. Particularly w/ fiberglass and wood.

But if you manage the transom rot and it hasn't been out in the elements, yes it was a fair deal.
