no pictures today because of the rain but the fishing was pretty good.
Lots of cutts as we explored down H.C. Some of my favorite areas were weeded up pretty badly so I had to look around for places to fish. Found plenty of fish in the 10-12 inch range and a few in the 15-16. Got one fish around 18 or 19 first thing in the morning and never saw another fish in that size class the rest of the day.
Cheese- its a great fishery.

Nice work D3! I look forward to your postings around this time every year! Looks like you really have this searun deal figured out! Also looks to be a very enjoyable way to fish. Small skiff, light fly gear Puget sound, what a combanation. Thanks for the photos! -FF

Thank you Joseph. you'll have to come check it out sometime.
This fish could be a hybrid of a SRC/Steelhead but without genetic testing we will never know. Sure has that steelhead look to it though.

I'd love to come check it out sometime, unfortunately it's not in the cards in the near future, I've got way too much going on right now to make the trek up there. But someday for sure!
Wow, that fish really does have a steelhead look to it, it would have been interesting to send a scale or a blood sample in for analysis....

actually there is a quite informative post on WFF about the hybrids. Seems plausible that its a hybrid. I think i even saw him again today but couldnt get him to take a fly. And i saw a bigger one, which hopefully i will have pics of tomorrow. Good tides in the morning :) :meme:
