Was down at Lake Vernonia last night and talking to a photographer. He showed me a photo of an Osprey that dropped in just in front of the restrooms and grabbed hold of a bass. The trouble was the bass was as big or bigger than the Osprey!! He has a picture of the Osprey up out of the water just enough to see the talons hooked into the mouth of the bass. He said then the Osprey settled back into the water and he got a shot of it with the expression on its face of "who's got who"???? Pretty cool photo's and yes there is at least one big boy in the lake.

He told me his PB was 11.5 lbs and has landed many in the 7-8 lb class, fishing mainly from a small cartopper!

I don't doubt it, I have seen a 10 and 9 pounder that came out of the lake.
