Is Thompson Res. any good right now? I want to do a little bass and trout fishing and my wife wants to go there for a couple of days to swim.

I remember Fishing at tompson Res. before I even was into bass fishing. Had to be around 1996 or so. The buddy I was fishing with caught a monster bass. I couldnt tell you how big it was but my memory tells me it was huge. There was a group of about ten of them pigs hangin near the bottom down next to that rock watch tower. The water was so clear we could see them all. He was bouncing a live worm of her nose for a good couple of minutes and she finally bit it. Ill see if I can get a picture from him. It was memorial day weekend now that i think of it.
