The return of hot weather and strong north winds seem to have shut off the fishing in my spot. I did manage 1 fish last nite around 3lbs and got a 3-10 last friday nite, but thats it for the last 2 weeks. Should start to pick up as weather cools down and when annual drawdown begins on Oct 1. Thats the time to really get serious out there! I cant wait for fall to really kick in and hope to see/meet some of you guys and try some of YOUR spots! Tight lines!

DJD, have you fished the rocks at the dam before? Many times; I have some pretty weak ankles now and have a tendency to avoid the rip-rap. Many large fish have been caught along the dam in fall and winter. The last time I went to stand on a rock, I fell in the lake!
