Anyone know any good sites or instructions to install a new bilge pump? Or should I just take it to a marina and let them deal with it?

installation is dirt simple, in fact, the new pump may well come with instructions. If you have an existing pump you can just copy that for the new one.

I put a new float switch on mine. It was as easy as bolting it down and attaching the wires. I'm sure the pump would be just as easy.

Careful drilling holes in your hull to mount it. You can use 3m 4200 adhesive and avoid the drill.

I like to fasten mine to a piece of thick plastic and then glue the plastic square in place with 3M 4200 or 5200 whatever I have on hand ... :twocents:

Yachtsurvey.com has a tutorial on bilge pumps that was enlightening for me.
