I was in the garage this morning tinkering with the boat. I pulled the dipstick on my '06 Yamaha F150 and though to myself "wow, the oil level is really high".
I always put just enough oil in it that the level is halfway up the dipstick. This time it was above the full mark. Smelled the dipstick and got a good wiff of gas.
I've got a serious case of fuel dilution.:passout:
This is my third Yamaha outboard going back to '97 and the very first time I've had a problem with any of them in probably 1000+ total hours. I guess I can't say I've never had a problem with my Yamahas anymore.
Its down at the Yamaha dealer now. Hopefully its a simple fix and they get it fixed by next weekend.
