Anybody here fish the Sage Fli series fly rod?
I'm thinking about picking up a 5 or 6wt.
Would like a review of the rod.
Thank you,
Dave

Look for these to be discounted as Sage is updating their product line.
I cast one and it is a decent rod. Worst thing I could say about it is the color sucks.
Best advice I could offer is to go to a shop and cast one, preferably with a line you'd intend to fish on it.
What someone my love or hate about the Fli, you may find just the opposite based on your casting stroke.
Good luck

LOL, just having a bit of fun...
Sage makes a good rod, a fly rod that defines the term "fast action".
I've pitched the FLi a couple of times and its good, but nothing super special.
better than a sharp stick in the eye for sure.

Thanks Guys,
Mr. Benkie done with school? How the fishing been?
I'll need to go down and cast some rods.
I just don't want to spend more then $300.00

Shops up here in the Seattle area are closing them out for $225.00 or less, depending on the weight.
You'll be well under your $300.00 budget.
One othe suggestion, check out the Redington CPS rods. They are on close-out also. Great rod for the money.

I'd suggest the CPS as well. I think its a better rod for the money vs an FLi.

Try a Scott A2...I wasn't overly impressed when I cast a FLi but I took it for what it was in the Sage lineup...
