Yeahhhhhhhh. My entry form is on the way. Reservations are made. Looking for some more Northern Boys to come along the help me teach the Southern Boys how to do this stuff. Hey, Sparse Gray Hackle, the secret bait is mini-marshmallows soaked in pro-cure with hot pink dye. I will make up a special batch just for you! OOPs, I think I let the cat out of the bag. Look forward to seeing some old faces, and especially some new faces there. One thing is guaranteed, we will have FUN.

I will help teach the Southern Boys. I just finished up on my new Cresent Lake Killer. I will make more with gold hooks. This three hook set-up will catch anything that thinks about bitting.

Holy Catfish,CarpRon Look at this Triple whammy :bigshock:ole SS is bringing out the big gun. What is that thing? Looks like a two toned chicken Swede killer, it's the chicken Swede that gives it that fuzzy look.:D
I admit that you guys kicked butt at Green Peter,I am MAD:mad: look out! I am cumming back head down and stinger out.

Hey Sparse:
Didn't you use a riggin' like that at GP? I thought everyone knew about those. Oh, and I believe the fuzziness comes from the Crown Royal that was consumed the night before the derby, not from the chicken Swede. Y'all bring your Dixie Cups, hear! You have a chance to redeem yourself, so you better tie up some of those chicken swedes for Crescent. Orange and green works good up there.

I really prefer two tone perforated monkey skin, tie dyed in hot pink. With a chicken swede trailer. Salmonslayer showed me one and I copied it.
Your are right that Crown almost did me in, I should have stuck with the Southern comfort in a Dixie cup. Salomnslayer are you bring some of your home maid killers with you??

Greg, that's great. 'Fishing with Gary' has some really neat stuff. Gary is a knowledgable kokanee fisherman and well informed. Most of his tackle comes with some very good info on the how, why, when, etc. to fish it. Glad to hear he is supporting us.

Hope you guys have a bang-up time and catch boat loads of Kokes. I will be relegated to the reading of reports and results next week after spending the weekend working on the house.

Just as a point of clarification, I believe we were talking about Gary Miralles of Shasta Tackle Company. Who is no doubt a very knowledgeable 'Koke fisherman. The Fishing with Gary Line of tackle I believe was Developed by Gary Gordon, also a knowledgable 'koke fisherman, but not the guy who will be at Sportsmans on wednesday.

Hey Guys:
Only four more days until Derby Day. I can see by the posts that some ifishers will be there. That is great!! Hope more of you consider attending. You won't regret it. I heard Sparse Grey Hackle has obtained himself a partner that knows how to fish. And instead of bringing Crown Royal he is now concentrating on the chicken swede triple hooker in multiple colors as his "go to" rig for the Derby. I have also heard that kokaneepoweroregon has been up there since Monday practicing. That really isn't fair since some of us can't get there until Thursday. On a serious note, I really look forward to seeing everyone. Sounds like there will be some new faces there and I look forward to meeting all of you.

The entry form says the start time is 6:00 but no one can start fishing until 6:30. I got an Email from Greg today that said the start time is 6:00am and this should have been changed.
I'm hoping to clear this up for everyone before the derby. As it is right now I will not start fishing until 6:30. Sooo maybe the rest of you don’t want to clear this up and just let me sit there while you start fishing a half hour before me. Good luck to all.
Thanks ET
