Just a heads up, went out to let some guys run my...(now theirs) boat, knew Foster was down, but thought we could at least get in at Sunnyside... NO GO!
All boat ramps are high and dry...or muddy I should say. Signs at the park said "Very low, launch at your own risk" but unless its a raft, you ain't launchin!
Green Peter is full pool (for now), quite a few fishermen out, only a handful of skiers, marked quite a bit of fish between Thistle and floating outhouse. Water reading 66* on my ff's... yowza!

Uhm yea you cant launch a boat at Foster.
Unless you can carry or wheel it down to the water...
A guy told me today there was two cracks in the dam.

Was the damage to the gates recent? I'm wondering why this wasn't taken care of during the winter when the water is already low?

they say dam is inspected every 5 years, due to having no "problems" noted before....say now after repairs the dam will be inspected more regularly. The gates are damaged to point "would not work when needed" with fall run off

Fished Foster over the labor day weekend. Caught lots of fish in the 12" to 15" range. All fish were caught on a white and pink hoochie tipped with nightcrawler.

DLM, I was catching trout at Foster. I gave up on the Koke's at green peter. The morning I saw you on the lake I hooked about 12 and never got one to the boat.
