On Monday my wife( separated for 8 years now) had a blood vessel burst in her head and is paralyzed on her left side (53 years old)
This morning she was put on a ventilator and I was told she has pneumonia
We have 3 children together and the kids are taking this very hard

Please pray for them all
For Sheila to recover quickly and for the kids to be strong and to cope

Sheila has no medical insurance and will lose her home ( my youngest daughter (Jessica) lives with Sheila and has a 1 year old son with a dead beat dad that pays no support and I am afraid they will become homeless)
I expect her to be in the hospital for quite some time and then she will need extensive physical therapy in a nursing home for several months

Thank You

Hank my friend I am so very sorry to hear you and your children are going through this. Indeed it sounds like tough times ahead for those very close to the situation.

May God grant healing to Sheila. She is so young at 53 to be going through this. May God be with your daughter and grandchild. Certainly they will face some troubling times ahead if the house is removed from them.

And may God Strengthen you too Hank. When someone you loved once in your life is stricken it cannot help but still affect you on the inside. I pray that God's guidence will lead you in directions that will bring about a positive outcome in this very difficult situation.

Amen.

OH Hank I am so very sorry. I will be praying for her as she goes through this. I pray for those who will care for her that God will be with them as well.

I will pray for your daughter and your grandchild as this will be hard on them. May God show them the way as well and assist them as they go through this crisis.

I will pray for you as you do what you can in support of your wife, daughter and her baby.

May God Bless you.

My friends I take a bit of liberty in copying this Salty Dog post of Hank's here in the Chapel but his need for support and prayers is greater than ever at this time.

I hope this is OK with Hank.

Please join me in Prayer and support.

From Hank.

I know this is not a salty post but you guys are like my extended family so I am posting here
I had posted last week in the anglers chapel about the stroke and recieved a lot of support there

My Salty brothers and Sisters
I am asking for your support for my family
The mother (Sheila) of my 3 youngest children had a stroke last week and today we were informed that she will never be able to breathe on her own

We had talked about this very thing and her & I both agreed that neither of us ever wanted to be just kept alive with no hope of recovery

So I am asking for your prayers for my kids as well as Sheila
we have been seperated for 8 years but she still remained a big part of my life and I never stopped caring about her

This evening the doctors are going to remove her from the ventilator that is allowing her to breathe and stay alive

Please keep us in your prayers
