Elk lake has some nice Brookies and the fishing is good in the fall.

The area between Miller lake and Crescent lake has some forest service roads and a number of homes tucked away in there. I had some friends that lived there and knew some spots where they would get 100 brookies a day. Can't remember exactly where but there is a number of small streams if you go in road 5825 off hwy 58 toward Mowich. You will hit the Little Deschutes, Spruce Creek, Hemlock Creek, Swamp creek and others. A good forest service map should get you there.
