I gotta think it is clearing up as Merwin has cleared back up. But I haven't made the drive up there.

Yes, Swift's water has cleared up. Full pool and not to many debries floating (for Swift that is - there is alway some so keep an eye out).
We slept in after a busy work week and kids staying up late. Got to Swift at 10:00 AM on Friday. Some wind, but not bad. Trolled using small flatfish, wedding ring type spinners and night crawlers, and a crocodile spoon. Most action came on the flatfish, but the other two produced. We had pretty good action. Between 10:30 and 2:00 had 10 fish on, landed 7, kept 6. All of these were in the 11-12 inch range. Did not hook any big fish, but did mark some on the sonar. I did not talk to anyone who hooked a big fish. Moved around some, but I did not run more than a mile or two from the ramp. Nice day and fishable conditions.

While I set the boat for the trip home, the boys found a friendly lab to play fetch with. Lab's are great dogs!

Note if you go with kids: The little market and gas station in Cougar (across from closed-down Yale Market) has a soft serve ice cream machine. The boys loved that pit stop!
