11 July - Hooked up the 15 ft'r and loaded car with sons and their buddies. Launched near the top of Goose Lake ramp and proceeded to steer the Minn Kota as the four of them whanged out Roostertail Lures in every direction - several came close to my nose - not a comfortable feeling but well worth the total experience of excited young fisherman learning to cast their Zebco's.

Nice, that lake is fun. I used to catch them there with a orange flat fish there, havent fished since the year it almost dryed up though.

Any idea if the lake/campground at goose is open with the fire in the area?

A buddy and I were thinking of heading up there tomorrow. Does anyone know if FS 60 is clear, or do we have to go through Trout Lake?

Take good care of those pictures. Those three guys will look at those shots and remember the day as long as they live. I still look at pictures from East Lake trips where our family started going when I was about 4.
