All I have done sence I moved up here is fished for the big fish. This weekend I am going to get to camp for the first time in 3 years and am heading up to the upper clackamas. I was wondering on advise on were to fish for some good trout and were you can use bait and were you have to use artifitial flys and lures. Any help wouldbe great.

Thanks
J.C.

North Fork Reservoir is easy to fish and well stocked. Bait is allowed.

Bait is not allowed on the river or it's tributaries above milepost 32 which I believe is not far upstream from North Fork Reservior. There are not a whole lot of trout up there anyway. Any of the reserviors in the Clackamas system would be better, and they allow bait. Harriet Lake is my personal favorite for fishing, but Timothy has the nicest campgrounds, and North Fork is great if you don't want to burn a lot of fuel. Have a great weekend! :excited:
