We fished East Lake on Saturday afternoon/evening the 5th of July. I've only been there twice before I think a few years ago.
We didn't catch a thing until the sun began to set. I made sure we were over near the campground area where everyone trolls the shoreline for browns as it get dark. Bugs suddenly became thick and Kokanee began to feed like crazy all around us and we caught several trolling flies on the surface or 3-5 ft. down with the 'rigger. We each caught a small brown of about 15 inches. Didin't see any others catching anything but it was hard to see. It was a blast trolling around where the lake just becomes alive with activity and the anticipation of wondering what the next strike will be was intense.
Have sunset shot at home- will post later.
Yep- work is ssssllllooooooowwww!
