Fishing Report Lost Lake (Mt. Hood)

Returned yesterday from 4 days camping at Lost Lake. Almost all campsites are now available with the exception of a couple in the "F"
tent loop that still have some snow. Fishing is excellent. We pulled ford fenders from a rowboat for several hours one morning and picked up 5
rainbow trout, but the shore fishing on Saturday morning was unreal. I kept a limit and released another half dozen in one hour. (Had a strike on each cast). My 10 year old limited out in an hour. All pan sized rainbows. Nothing of any size. We used Green power bait. There was a 7 pounder caught by a troller on Friday morning. Great time to take the kids up for some busy bank fishing.

Thanks, I think that would be fun to leave the boat at home and go do some nice bank fishing at a nice lake!

how where mosquitos??? normal, bad ,ridiculas, go home early??

We are heading up there in the morning, pontoons are the vessel and trolling the famous (lazy eye type) flat fish is the ticket. I will give you the full report next week when I get back.
