Got on the water on my little boat about 8am, and fished til 11am and got off before the wakeboarders could try to sink my 16 footer. I fished right across from Howard Amon park on the Pasco side of the river fishing in 2-12 feet of water.
about 8:30 am i was tossing a topwater bait, and had one blow it out of the water. Threw back in and he missed it again. Put a copper colored strike king lipless crank on, and he blasted it. 14'' smallie. He was in 5 feet of water.
After that....nothin. pretty slow.
