if your gonna fish more than five days, just get the year license, trust me it's a better deal plus it'll give you a reason to go again later haha

Full year license is $104 and change. Make sure you know where your fishing when you come down here. We have lots of stamps that you MUST purchase in order to be legal. There is a delta enhancment stamp if you plan to fish inside the golden gate bridge which actually covers waters all the way up the sacramento river to redding, we have a second rod stamp, sturgeon tags, second rod stamp, various punch cards for the different rivers for salmon or steelhead. There is lots of crap to add to your initial license price. CADFG loves to nickle and dime you at the moment. Also right now, there is no take of ocean or river salmon anywhere. Most rivers you can not keep the steelhead, and we have major gear restrictions on the rivers. Every river, or sections of river rather, all have their own restrictions. Damn near need a lawyer when you go fishing now. But, there's lots of fish out there to catch!

he is correct. i forgot they ding you for being out of state. i was able to get an in-state fishing permit for 38$, but if you are out of state it is $$$. so look into the 2 day and 10 day ones.
