going out to lake sawyer this evening and would like some pointers on how to catch some bass on something besides bobber and worm.also are there any crawdads in the lake?

Flippin the spinner baits under the docks.. Great luck

I haven't fished there in 15 years.... was also the last time I had even heard anyone mention the name...

anyways, Stealhead21 pretty much summed it up. Spinners and senkos

There's craws in much of the lakes in that area, so should be some in Sawyer too

Some good smallie fishing will be right near the boat launch. After you launch hang a left around the point, and start fishing grubs. there is good rock, weeds, and a dropoff right there. I usually fish this area from shore. If it's sunny out, continue to fish the docks in that same bay. Grubs, drop shotted white worms, and cranks produce good. There is a good population of both smallies and largies here.
