here are some shots that bucketmouth and i took when we visited willow creek reservoir on tuesday morning/evening.
angling was slow, and the lake is contaminated with a toxic blue-green algae species.
we tried not to pick our noses or suck our thumbs after handling wet lures or fish.
thanks rich for a nice getaway and super company! joe

Awesome pics, and it is always nice to see a new area to me. Did you guys get any other fish, or just those 2? Glad to see you guys getting out while I am stuck here at work.

Awesome report Joe & Rich. Couple good fish there. First pics I've ever seen of the place.
I have relatives there but haven't even thought about fishing it.
So do you think it's worth the drive?? Or were you just out for an adventure?

hey mike, at this stage of the game it's definitely not worth the drive
strictly for the angling. i would be real interested what this place can do
in the fall. and i'd put it on the books for a may trip for next year.
