For all the years I have been around Tenmile, (About 45 years) I have never seen more Bass Fry than there is this year. It seems that there are swarms of fry everywhere you look and when you cast a lure the water will explode with fish. If I didn't know better I would think that I was fishing Clear Lake California and they were shad fry!!!!
Lots of Cormorant food this year!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not spent as much time at Ten Mile as you (obviously) but I sure noticed a ton of fry the last time I was there as well..... good spawn I guess....

Its too bad there are so many comerants there munching on the bass fry. Hopefully many will make it to maturity!
Siltcoos used to have tons of birds I heard--now they have eaten all the bass and haved moved South to Tenmile!

I was there this weekend and saw the fry too. many more than usual that's for sure. I truly believe the 15" rule has helped. I hope they don't remove that rule....like they are talking about doing.
