This weekend is the first leg of the OTC. I will be going out as part of the all-female crew, along with ifishers, Sea Jypzee, spinnergal, and Small Fry's wife, Lori. I would appreciate a little prayer, as I am a bit anxious about it. (Maybe I'm just afraid of what my house will look like after two nights away, with my husband in charge of the kids.)

Please pray for our safety, that we will work together well, and maybe even catch a TUNA! or two. :)

Thanks,
Melissa

You will do just fine. I hear Nancy is top notch far as skippers go. Just gotta pray that the tuna will be around. Not looking great in that department.

I have not been able to go out with her yet, but I have full confidence in her abilities. As for the tuna, well...

It was a fun day yesterday, and I'm glad I went. I've gone all soft and domestic the last few years, and badly needed to get out of that rut. Whatever anxiety I had about doing this got worked out yesterday, thanks in large part to my husband and teammates.

Now, on to Hammond and lots-o-TUNA! :excited:

Rod & I were really happy to meet you & with your casting abilities we should make sure we put you on those extra casting rods when we start to hook up-just like Mark Mc taught us in his presentation.

We also thank your husband, we know it can be a challenge to fill the entire role when Mommy is gone.

I now have full confidence in this all womans team (actually I already felt great about being a part of it)
Let's go get'em:D
