Hey All,
I took the kids and we went to Willamette park to give them a try. No bites on the kids carp rods, but I did catch a 1lb15oz smallmouth on a Kalin 3" salty grub (brownish color). Missed one other bite. We then drove down to George Rogers park. I caught a dink there on a crankbait. (Once again no carp bites for the kids). This was my first time to either spot so it was kind of fun just to see them. The kids had a good time finding rocks, looking for treasure, all the usual good kid stuff :)
Almost forgot, the fishing took place between 6:30 and 8:30PM.
