Best luck was at the base of fallen trees in less than 8 Ft of water with Chart. spinnerbait. No fish of any size. 1.5 - 2.5lbs. being the norm.
pockets of fish were scattered. had to move around quite a bit.
Also hooked a few on green pumkin brushhogs in the lillies.
It was getting pre-fished pretty hard for the tourney next weekend.
Save the gas. fish closer to home.

You are a fishing animal Basshound. You remind me of me when I was younger. I stood up a date more than once because the fish were on a hot bite. I can still remember makes casts while wrestling with: "should I stay and catch fish or should I get going?" Fortunately for me, the fish always won out. Where is Tahk anyway? Thanks for the report.
