dad and I put in at boones launch saturday at 6am. a little light rain, but nothing great...water temp 65 degrees and not a breath of wind. fished hard until 1p. caught 15-18 fish between 13 and 16 using plastics (yamamoto wiggly tail) pumpkin and rootbeer. only caught fish where there was rocky shoreline and bottom. my first time to fish that stretch but will become my regular spot as its easy to get to close to home...kinda.. thanks MXracer for your help!

good work treyman.
that can be a finicky and fickle stretch through there,
but good times can definitely be had. thanks for the report.

Good job Trey! Get that river figured out then lets give it another try. I went up to Cascade Locks Saturday. Fished from 10:30 to about 3:00. Wind wasn't too bad. Fish have definitely moved out of the shallows up there and are deeper.
Started out in the lake and picked up a few. Then moved out to the river and fished the flats around 12' dragging senko's behind split shot. Caught 12 total. I had my 13 yo boy with me but he couldn't seem to keep his bait in the water or was hung up or napping, so he got skunked.

Nice job Tray.
I agree with team doyle, "that can be a finicky and fickle stretch"
