What stretch would be your guys' best bet given current conditions....I would be willing to put in anywhere from sauvie to Charbonneau ...will be out first thing. all input appreciated.
Trey
PS.....a PM would work too:)
Im partial to the water under the falls and by the papermills but its what I like to call ugly fishin the secenary is nasty yet nostaligic and the fish are big and ugly. You will most certinly catch fish but you also must be carfull of the snags on the west linn side and of course where the snags and shallower water are where the fishin is best.

Probably good advise Trey. Everyone has got lockjaw on this subject right now. That's usually a good sign that the bite is on. Look at some of the last few post from those on the Willy. Some good info there. Also, search past posts using search words Willy or Willie, check around this time of year or a little later. Water levels are nearing normal, so this search should be helpful.

Put in at Meldrum bar and fish that area. I've fished it many times and there are some very good areas. I've been using tube baits and drop shotting 3 1/2" white finess worms and have been doing pretty good. The docks around those areas have a pretty good top water bite in the early morning and into the evening hours.
