Just what we need, a fishing guide on Hagg :applause: (not). Check out part of this email he sends me:

"I have caught up to 12 pound trout. No picture because the batteries died in the camera. 3-5 pound bass (large & small mouth) are available in the lake. The limit is 5 fish per angler. My limit is also included in the boat's limit."

Can you say CLUELESS??? The only thing worse than someone that is clueless about the limits is a guide that is clueless about the limits. I wonder if he knows it's also illegal to catch all or part of another person's limit, too?
Don't worry, I told him the limit is one bass per day and also told him that if he doesn't let me know that he is going to comply, that I would forward his email to the Oregon State Marine Board- he he:D

Why can't all bass guides be more like Roger?????????????

 I played with the idea of guiding on Hagg for bass and NOT trout.
C&R :throb: only:flowered:.
I'm still just figuring out Hagg in two or three more years I may have a few things dialed in.
Thank you Dave:bowdown:

Raptorschild, turn your computer off, walk away, go watch CSI for 30 minutes. It will pass.

Just to give the benefit, for the "guide", maybe he meant trout on the limit?

Oh Dave.....You REALLY missed your chance. You should have booked a trip:D

On a serious note IMHO, NONE of our lakes can support a catch & keep guide service. "Guides" have killed THOUSANDS of Trout at Crane & now Lava & others. A C&R guide not real problem, but "limits" NOT a good idea. Especially when the "limit" is NOT LEGAL!!!

Dave, you shoulda gone!!!

Maybe you should have booked a trip. If he wanted to catch and keep 5 bass per person in the boat, you could have had the police book him!

Naaaa, he emailed me back and was pretty cool about it. He looked in the regs and thanked me for bringing it to his attention. He sounds like he's alright.
