How has the walleye fishing been up by McNary?

Dont know about the Mcnary area specific...have been hitting the water around Crowe Butte..last Sat. 6/29 my son and I got 4 lost 1 with the biggest being 13lbs (if I could figure how to post the pic I would)the rest 18" eaters.
In my opinion it seems as if the high water and currents being a little heavier than norm. have the fish scattered a bit more right now although I am sure there will be some that disagree..I am still on the huge learning curve for these creatures..I noticed on my way towards crowe butte from the tri-city's there were quite a few boats working the area across from the grain elevators by Irrigon all the way to Patterson point and a few boats at Glade Creek if that's any help.

Wow...13lb is a great fish. Do you usually fish inside the protected bay of Crow Butte, or do you get out in the Columbia? I've fished those rocky points across from the launch a time or two for smallies.

A couple of the smaller fish came from the channel marker right at the mouth of the bay along with some decent sized perch..the others came from upstream at marker 36 to 34. My son lost a nice one dead even with
channel marker 36 so seems they were strung up and down that whole area.
