May i suggest going to a pro shop and let them fit you to a bow you dont have to buy from them but at lease you will know what to look for as far as draw length and what bow makers make a bow that would fit you.
Also take a look on archery talk lots of bows for sale.

good luck

I may have one up for sale next week. It is a Browning Rage.

It goes up to 50lbs which is the legal minimum for elk.

I work in southern Oregon the second week of each months, so if I put this up for sale and you are interested, I may be able to deliver.

Dewclaw archery is located in Medford as well.

Terry,
I am 5'4", 125 lbs. I went to Cabela's and got fitted. I just bought the bow I liked that I shot there, but for less $ and as a pkg deal from another dealer.

Brand new and under $300. It was a great fit for me. If you buy it, remember to change the drop down menu to (probably) right hand, and also to 50lb. You can dial it down from there.

I don't know much about bow hunting but a friend was advising me, and this was a really nice bow for me. Also, it's made in Oregon!!

I'd go and get fitted to size and shoot as many bows as you can. You are going to want a light weight bow. Too heavy and it will be cumbersome to hold and shoot. I'm guessing you'll be around a 25" draw and probably start around 40lbs of pull. You are similar in size to my wife.

Once you get an idea of a bow you like. Start watching ebay or archerytalk.com classifides. You'll find the one you want.

Good luck
