I will be staying at Camp Sherman on the 20th and 21st. I am thinking I will take the boat and do some kokanee fishing. Any help would be appreciated.

any river arm, any little spoon or spinner tipped with corn behind ford fender about 30 feet down.

If you fish the Metolius Arm, don't forget your Tribal Permit. If you see jumpers, cast and jig a pink and white Gibbs Minnow. Otherwise look for the boats mark fish on your finder and play the kokenut game (10+ colors of dodger, 42+ varieties of hoochie, spinner, apex etc, various combinations of corn :D) I have done well with a Purple with black diamonds mid size Sling blade and Watermelon Apex, up the Metolius arm.)

Is LBC too dangerous for a canoe? I wouldn't want to go way out in the middle in a canoe, but it would be pretty cool to try to catch kokanee while we're down there. Are there serious wakes out there from other boaters? Is it safer to lurk closer to the shore, but does that put you out of kokanee range? Just curious.
