How has the fishin been there?

I am trying to make it down to Albany today to welcome home the Albany unit of the Oregon National Guard. One of my neighbors is returning from her 3rd Deployment today at 2pm. :applause:

I'd like to drag a few heroes and their families over there to cast a line, and introduce myself. Join me if you like. PM for my cel number. I will be online occassionally while I am there. I have some extra poles, and could use some help :flowered:

Wow, my old hometown Albany sure knows how to honor and respect returning soldiers. A very big turnout to honor the 224 Engineers, mostly from Albany and Newport. Signs all over town said "Welcome home 224 Engineers" and "Welcome Home Troops"
I couldn't convince any of them to join myself, my dad, and guide Bill Kremers for some quick fishin in Timber-Linn, but they are sure ready to fish for Steelhead and Salmon.
Thats my dad on the left in the maroon hat, he was in the Albany unit from '54 to '62 known as Battery C, 3rd Gun Battallion (Skysweeper) 249th Artillery.
