You talking about fall creek/reservoir by hwy58 next to Eugene? Don't know of any fall creek next to Diamond. Been a couple years since I've been up there but it used to have a bunch next to the north/east side campgrounds.

Just wondering if its worth it bringing the traps up or not.

Fall Creek is a USFS hiking trail between Roseburg and Diamond on the highway. There's a couple miles of trails that follow the creek up from the North Umpqua that are maintained by the Forest Service. You hit any of the pools along the way and they are loaded with crawdads. We used to fill 5 gallon buckets at each spot.

In the summer time if you walk to the end of the trail, cross the gravel road then hike about 200 yards up the creek there is a large rock slide to swim on as well. Just better be dang warm outside cuz that water is cold cold cold.
