WS to TC report 6/4

My buddy was in town from Alaska so we decided to float WS to TC. Fishing was tough for us but managed a half dozen on nymphs, stonefly/beadhead pheasant tail combo's. Very windy but the crowd was considerably smaller than I had anticipated. Lots of big bugs on the the grass but very few flying. TC had dropped and cleared since last week but it's still high and off color. Lots of boaters putting in at TC and heading down.

I was there yesterday too. Walked downstream from Dry Creek. Did about the same, 6 landed, biggest 16". 5 on similar nymph setup. For some reason I broke off 6 or 7, two of which were very large. Had one rise to a golden stone dry, no take. Managed one on a caddis dry. Saw 10 rises all day. Should get better with each day. Still good to be out there.
