I am looking for a map/chart of Diamond Lake. I would like to find one that shows the depths and channels if such a thing is available.
I have searched on line and have found nothing. Maybe I am using the wrong terminology?
Anybody know where I could find such a map online? Thanks, Stu

Tryed to look my self could not find one. You may try and call the lodge they used to have them at the marina and store. may be they can fax or email you one. When you headed up? I am going the 14 15 16 and 17.

There really are no channels that I know of. The bottom is pretty flat. I used to go there every year until the chub took over. Now that the chubs are gone, I am planning on trying it again. We will be going later this month.
I did find a topographical map which shows the depths of the lake:

Navionics Premium Hotmaps West has it on the chip if you have a GPS.
I don't know any way to print it as they are copy protected, i believe.

We will be in the E loop, not sure which spot yet. Look for the F-250 Blue/Silver 4X4, and white Expedition. Ya, I gotta buy gas for both em, plus the boat.:passout:
Stop buy and swap fish stories!
I got an e-mail from the Lodge today, they said there is still a lot of snow in the campgrounds, and the skeeters are just starting to wake up!
Hope the 100% DEET works!!!!!

Can someone give some info on leaving my boat trailer? I have a cabin the end of June and they said I needed to leave the trailer at the ramp? I too tried to find a map to find the proximity of the cabin to the slips but was unable to find anything. Thanks

If you're talking about the Resort cabins - the launch at the resort is right there(100yards). If you're talking about a private cabin - the north launch is quite a ways from those. Don't know why you'd need to park the trailer at the launch if you're at a private cabin-just unhook and push out of the way around the cabin somewhere. The area around the resort does get pretty busy.

I just purchased Garmin's Inland Lakes West microSD card for my Garmin GPS. It's pretty cool and has all the details of the lakes a person could want. They added a bunch of the lakes I fish this year (Feb). Strangely, though Diamond lake has not been included yet.

It's a resort cabin but not a lake front cabin. I've only been there once and that was several years ago. It seemed that some of the resort cabins were a half mile or so from the marina but maybe those were something different. My big concern with leaving the trailer is it being there when I get back. Didn't know if they had a fenced lot or you just dropped it at the launch.
