McKenzie conditions?

Anybody care to share info on the boatability of the McKenzie this weekend? I've never floated it at this high a level. I want to take the family out, but want it to be reasonably safe.

Drove over yesterday and it looked high but plenty fishable... there were a dozen trailers at the ramp...

Water is high but give yourself time and don't assume that the river's the same as when you float it in the late summer, and you should be fine.

Floated Blue River to Silver Creek today..river is high and very cold. High water didn't present safety issues for that stretch but made it tough to slow down at any of the normal fishin spots.

Took the family out for a FAST trip down the river! Fishing was slow but we had a good time. Boys kept yelling "more rapids!" even though I try to tell them the fish are in the flat spots. But to them, flat = boring. oh well - as long as they're enjoying the overall experience!
