In July, my renter will be leaving and the house will be available to rent.
It's a turn-of-the-century farmhouse located downtown Hillsboro - 2 1/2 blocks from MAX stop, 2 Blocks from Supermarket, 1 Block from Hospital.
While it's listed as a 3 Bedroom - it's really a one bedroom with adjoining bathroom (sink, toliet & shower) with two small rooms upstairs. The second bathroom is on main floor but no shower, has original claw-foot tub. Minimum closet space due to age of home. Basement access from outside, unfinished and height limited (about 5' 6") but good for storage. Nice front porch, all appliances including washer & dryer, has heat pump so cools down nice in summer. No garage but the driveway is full length of lot so when I lived there, truck and 20' boat fit nicely. After this renter leaves, we'll gravel again. Rent is $900 month, total utilities (garbage, water, gas & electric) average about $175/month. Lawnmover and basic tools provided for care of lawn - once a month (with advance notice) I come and do trimming, weeding, pruning etc ... previous owners (107 years worth) planted flowers and plants that I'm still figuring out, what I thought was a weed turns out to be heirloom flower or rose.
