Does anyone fish hagg? I saw a guy once up there. I was thinking about giving it a shot

I have never managed to get a trout of there but I did kill the perch with the fly rod one and a few bass on top water in the coves are fun if you have a float tube it would be good I bet go when the weather is bad other wise you will be ran over by a boat good luck rp

I haven't started fly fishing yet, but many times I have used a clear bobber with about a two foot leader and then a fly and casted it out and pretty much slowly retrieved giving a jerk here and there back to shore and have caught quite a few trout using that method so I don't see why it wouldn't work. Just last Friday I witnessed a guy fly fishing from the dam and I believe he caught 4 trout and one bass.

I haven't fished it in years (since I started steelheading:D) but I remember catching trout on Elk Hair Caddis (Slow toll). Woolly buggers should work too (so would most every pattern) since they are mostly pellet heads.

Good Luck
