willy report 5/17

[Bassinator]

Went out fishing on saturday to willy park above the falls and had a great time. I did get pics but my carmera screwed up on the focus so you can't see them:( Caught about 20 fish for two hours and the biggest were two about 3lbs. Alot of 2 lbers and a few dinks. Hope everyone else went out.

I was out as well in the same area Saturday. If you drive a white truck with an IFish sticker in your rear window on the passenger side, I parked next to you.

However, we didn't do as well. Nothing at all except a Pikeminnow just before giving-up. Too hot and bored so was in by 12:30 and headed home.

Mike, that was me. You were the Smoker? I didn't see an IFish Sticker.
You didn't see the IFish stickers on my Crestliner?

You guys need to get IFish Stickers on your boats & trucks.
Always nice to say hi and swap intel.

Yeah, it's a Sylvan though - same thing. No, I didn't see the stickers on your Crestliner. I need to put a set of binocculars in the boat as I don't have the eyes I used to.

I should go out with some of you and learn how to fish the Willy for bass - or just learn to fish for bass. :whistle:

My wife and I have mainly fished for trout, but have been bass-bitten. :excited:

Have mainly fished just above the falls to just passed Boon Bridge. Finally found the launch at the Wheatland Ferry, but know nothing about the area. Only other launch I know near Silverton is downtown Salem.

I have no idea where I'll be going Saturday or if I'll have a partner at all. Wife will be unavailable though...:(
