Attepted to fish leburg to hedricks park yesterday just turned into a really short float 3-1/2 hours:bigshock: Need less to say the river was a little high and smoking fast. Nice way to cool off though!:passout:O well had a good day thursday evening hedricks to hayden. Hopefully the water clears up by wednesday:pray: Tight lines TIM

What do you suppose the McKenzie is going to look like this weekend? I plan on doing some camping along it. Is it blowing thru and colored? Fishable? Thanks. -BH

I think it's going to be awhile before any local rivers are fishable with all the run off.

The river is cold right now, and running high. Generally I don't fish it when it's above 2.80ft. at the Vida site. I think it's running 4.5 right now.
But look, we didn't have a monster water event last winter, and by all accounts the hatches have been gigantic this spring. So, look forward to many summer evenings of PMD's and Caddis!!!!
I just want to hook a few more summer's!!!!:pray:
