Willi Smallie - my personal best - Sat, 5/17

I fished out of Cedar Oak this morning. There was a lot of flow and the water was off color... but climbed to 56 degrees. I found one wolf pack early that produced 4 fish on cranks. Soon after that I caught my PR Smallie today... 3.0 lbs and 19.25" long... on a crank... running parallel to some rip-rap in a pocket near some current. Does she seem a bit skinny? Could she be post-spawn? Like last week, plastics didn't produce for me today. Thanks to all who have taught me so much. It's really fun when it all comes together for one nice fish!

nice job man. my first smallie outting (a tournament) i caught a 3lbs 3oz smallie my biggest smallie wise. when you launch out of cedar oaks...try thr point right in front of you:meme:good things happen there. especailly with a good flow:D. good luck,
